League Sage is a software platform for recreational sports leagues and teams. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and what we do with it. Plain language; no dark patterns.

What we collect

Account information — name, email, league and team affiliation. Provided by you when you sign up (directly, or through Google or Apple sign-in), or by a league commissioner when they add you.
Home address — if you add one, if your league asks for it at registration, or if a driver's license you scan for ID verification supplies one when you haven't. We look up its county and city limits through the U.S. Census Bureau's geocoder (and OpenStreetMap when the Census can't find it), sending only the street, city, state and ZIP. Your league's organizers can see your address and where it falls; teammates never can. If a scanned license shows a different address, organizers may review which one counts.
Activity data — RSVPs, lineups, scores, and other content you produce inside the platform.
Contact requests — the name, reply address, optional organization, and message you submit through our contact form. We use these to respond to you. The form uses a self-hosted verification check and temporary request limits to reduce spam.
Basic server logs — IP address, user-agent, and timestamps, retained for security and abuse prevention.

What we do with it

Run the platform: scheduling, lineups, scoring, notifications.
Send transactional email and (if you opt in) push notifications.
Diagnose bugs and respond to support requests.

What we don't do

We do not sell personal data.
We do not share email lists with advertisers or data brokers.
We do not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers on this marketing page.

Email

Transactional email from @leaguesage.com is sent only to users with active accounts. Marketing email is opt-in and unsubscribable in one click.

Your rights

You can deactivate your account temporarily or request permanent deletion directly from your profile. You have a 30-day cancellation window — simply sign in again to cancel deletion. After 30 days, your account is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. See Account Deletion for details.
